Mr. Eric James Hertz, Eric J. Hertz PC

Eric J. Hertz is a double Board-Certified Trial Attorney by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the American Board of Trial Advocates. A member of America’s Top 100 High Stakes Litigators and Top 10 Nursing Home Trial Lawyers, Mr. Hertz has tried over 100 jury trials as Lead Attorney and handled over 100 wrongful death cases, resulting in multi-millions of dollars collected for his clients, including several record high verdicts.

Mr. Hertz is the author of Nursing Home Abuse and Your Loved Ones (2016) and co-author of Thomas Reuters: Punitive Damages in Georgia (1997-2021); Georgia Law of Damages (1998-2022); and Georgia Law of Torts (2002). He is a regular speaker and author for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of Georgia and has been featured in the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association legal periodical Verdict.

Mr. Mark David Link, Mark Link, Esq

Mark Link is a graduate from the University of Florida where he received his undergraduatge degree and the University of Georgia for law school. He is licensed to practice law in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. Mr. Link co-authors both the  Georgia Law of Damages and Punitive Damags in Georgia treatises.  His practice is devoted to plaintiff's cases and he has practiced for over thirty years handling cases involving wrongful death, catastrophic injury, products liaiblity, cases against drunk drivers and governmental liability claims.

Mr. Richard English Dolder, Jr., Slappey & Sadd LLC

Rich Dolder focuses his practice on insurance coverage and insurance "bad faith."  On behalf of insured defendants and injured claimants, he works to make sure insurance companies take responsibility when they cause judgments in excess of policy limits.  He handles declaratory judgment actions regarding insurance coverage and consults with other attorneys on coverage issues, failure to settle and offer and acceptance.  He is a co-author of Insurance Bad Faith:  The Law in Georgia, soon to be printed in its fourth edition.

Joe is a Senior Neutral at Miles Mediation & Arbitration, LLC.  He has mediated over 3,000 cases since he joined Miles in 2005, following a 20 year career as a trial lawyer.  Joe is the third best lawyer in his immediate family, his wife Susan and daughter Audra claiming the first two spots.  Joe volunteers for and serves on the boards of several non-profs and firmly believes that with success comes the moral obligation to uplift the downtrodden.  When he's not mediating or volunteering his time to help where needed, Joe plays drums and harmonica for the Bear Bones Band, the Young Again band, and others.

A partner at Warshauer Woodward Atkins since 2013, Trent Shuping has taken cases to trial in state and federal courts throughout Georgia. Trent is a "true believer" Plaintiff's lawyer and specializes in cases involving railroad accidents, tractor-trailer wrecks, defective products, and general negligence cases. In addition to his work in the trial courts, Trent has extensive experience handling appeals in both state and federal courts. He has handled winning oral arguements in front of the Georgia and Tennessee Courts of Appeals as well as the Georgia Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
