Judge Wallace was elected to the Douglas County Superior Court bench in a contested race in June 2024, winning over 65% of the vote. She presides over an extensive case load involving felony crimes, domestic relations, land disputes, and various civil matters. She also has the privilege of presiding over Veteran’s Court, Opioid Court, and the Daily Reporting Center to improve the lives of people suffering from addiction.
Judge Wallace has been a lifelong public servant and spent her career as an attorney prosecuting felony and misdemeanor crimes to give a voice to crime victims. She is very active in professional and civic organizations such as Georgia Association for Women Lawyers where she sits on the executive board of the West Georgia Chapter, Douglas County Bar Association, Junior League of Douglas County, Leadership Douglas, and West Georgia Technical College Criminal Justice Advisory Board.
She grew up in Paducah, Kentucky and graduated from Murray State University and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.
