Brittainy is an associate in the firm’s Energy, Environment and Infrastructure practice group. She advises clients on matters regarding the Department of Energy, including drafting self-reports of violations and participating in settlement negotiations. She is also well versed and provides legal advice on Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations and guidance.

Brittainy brings a unique perspective to her practice, having worked as an operations research analyst of the U.S. Air Force prior to law school, where she helped develop models to calculate the life cycle cost of USAF weapons systems, analysed USAF capabilities, and determine recruitment and retention needs.

Brittainy received her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and Master of Engineering in Operations Research from the University of Texas. While in law school, Brittainy was the Executive Notes Editor - Washington University Jurisprudence Review, a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council, the Women’s Law Caucus, and Phi Alpha Delta.
