A native of South Georgia, where gnats frolic and ruin summer, Brooklyn Key attended college at Valdosta State University for her undergraduate degree and then attended the University of Georgia School of Law, class of 2012.

After graduation she practiced criminal defense for two years before accepting the Staff Attorney position for the Southern Judicial Circuit. She has been in her current position for eight years. The Southern Judicial Circuit covers 5 counties, Colquitt, Thomas, Brooks, Lowndes and Echols.

She currently works for 3 of the 5 Superior Court Judges, Judge Brian McDaniel, Judge James Prine, and Judge James E. Hardy. While her 3 judges cover the entire circuit, she is responsible for reviewing all adoptions for Thomas, Colquitt and Brooks County.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys, Abram (7) and Titus (5), cats, dogs and chickens on their small organic farm in Moultrie, GA. They are expecting a little girl that will be added to the bunch next month.
