Mr. Chad Richard Henderson

Chad was born in Thomasville, Georgia, and grew up in Orlando. After graduating from Florida State University in 1993, Chad moved back to Georgia to attend Emory University in Atlanta. Chad graduated from Emory’s School of Law in 1997 and also earned his M.B.A. from Emory’s Goizueta Business School. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and Georgia.

Chad’s law practice is focused primarily on commercial real estate transactions, developer representation, land use and zoning, small business consulting and advisement, corporate and partnership formation, and leasing of commercial and multi-family residential properties. Over the past 25+ years, Chad has participated in thousands of real estate transactions, on behalf of borrowers, sellers and lenders, and prepared covenants and bylaws for hundreds of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects throughout Georgia.

In addition to practicing law, Chad is an adjunct professor of real estate law at Emory’s Goizueta Business School, having previously taught dozens of law, business and real estate courses as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University. He has also presented at numerous seminars on topics ranging from verification of corporate authority in real estate closings to the challenges of office condominium leasing. He is a past chair of the Georgia Bar’s Real Property Section and has served on various other volunteer, community and nonprofit boards.
