Gifford is a Partner at Gerber & Holder and exclusively represents injured workers in Georgia Workers’ Compensation claims.  He spent the first 7 years of his career representing Employers and Insurers in workers’ compensation claims across Georgia and has represented injured workers at Gerber & Holder for the last 7 years.  Chris has handled close to one thousand workers’ compensation claims over the course of his career. He has taken and defended hundreds of depositions, participated in hundreds of successful settlement mediations, tried cases before the State Board of Workers’ Compensation in every corner of the state and participated in appeals at the Superior Court and Georgia Court of Appeals.  Chris is a 2023 Super Lawyer and has spoken on many different workers’ compensation topics at CLE’s.
