Cynthia Thomas is the Regional Administrative Manager for Reed Smith and owner of PLMC & Associates, a law firm management consulting company. With over 25 years of experience, she specializes in HR and financial/operations management for small and midsize firms.

Cynthia is a Six Sigma Champion (white and green belt) and coaches lawyers on building sustainable practices and speaks frequently on law firm operations.

Driven by her unwavering dedication to resolving challenges with utmost efficiency, Cynthia is a sought-after speaker and prolific writer on matters pertaining to law firm operations and management.
Co-author of the ABA's bestselling "Law Office Policies, Procedures, and Operations Manual" (7th ed., 2022), Cynthia has held leadership roles in various ABA divisions. She chaired the 2024 ABA TECHSHOW and played a pivotal role in the creating the ABA LP Lawyer Leadership Mastermind Series.

A California native, Cynthia enjoys hiking with her Dalmatian, Norco.
