Dama Gineris is a seasoned HR professional with a comprehensive background as an HR Strategic Advisor. She is currently in the role of Vice President of HR Shared Services at Acuity Brands, Inc., a leading industrial technology company based in Atlanta, Dama leads teams responsible for the HR service delivery. Her expertise in this area spans across various aspects of human resources, such as Associate and Labor Relations, Associate Experience Center, Payroll and Benefit Administration, HR Process Operations and HR Technology and Data Maintenance.

Education

Dama holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Shorter University and is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Learning, Leadership and Organizational Development at the University of Georgia. She is expected to graduate in 2025.

Advocacy and Leadership

A passionate advocate for mental health awareness, Dama co-founded Mind Matters, an employee resource group at Acuity focused on mental health. The group’s mission is to foster open conversations about mental health and dispel associated stigmas. Dama believes that creating a supportive and inclusive work environment is essential for the well-being and productivity of employees.
