Dawn G. Benson received her Juris Doctor with High Honors from the University of  North Carolina School of Law.  She practiced law with the Albany, Georgia firm of Watson, Spence, Lowe and Chambless for more than twenty-five years, primarily in the representation of physicians, hospitals and nursing homes in medical malpractice, regulatory, business and employment matters. In January 2009, Ms. Benson joined Phoebe Putney Health System where she currently serves as Senior Vice President/General Counsel.
