Debbie Gibbon is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). She is a trained financial neutral and mediator with over 30 years of experience. Before starting her firm, she worked as a Tax Manager with Arthur Andersen and as a Senior Manager in the Valuation/Litigation Support practice at Bennett Thrasher. 

Debbie is the founding shareholder of Gibbon Financial Consulting, a firm dedicated to expert witness testimony, business valuation services and forensic accounting for family law cases. She has been qualified as an expert witness in multiple jurisdictions, assisted in numerous mediations, and is a frequent speaker for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the Family Law Institute, the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar, and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Over her career she has provided counsel on hundreds of divorce cases for middle to high income couples. 

She grew up in Illinois, graduating cum laude from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting but after spending a winter working in Chicago headed to Georgia. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband of 38 years, her three grown sons, and her two-year-old granddaughter.
