Destiny Washington serves as Senior Labor and Employment Counsel for Southwire Company, LLC. In this role, she partners with the Company’s People & Culture function and provides counsel regarding the employment life cycle. She has counseled domestic and international, private and public, and profit and nonprofit entities, including an international labor union, metro-Atlanta school district, and metro-Atlanta police department, regarding labor and employment matters, and she has litigated on behalf of such entities (in employment and non-employment cases) in federal and state court and administrative forums.  Destiny is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.  She received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University and her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  She is a veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard and the U.S. Army.
