Chandler Law, LLC, is devoted to its clients in two primary respects. First, the Firm represents lawyers in all issues which affect their law practices and their law licensure. Second, the Firm provides estate planning for lawyers and non-lawyers alike through its proprietary Succession Planning and Life & Legacy Planning programs. Douglas Chandler has been practicing law for twenty-five years and is one of only two legal malpractice specialists in Georgia certified by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. To his credit, Douglas has over thirty Georgia Supreme Court and Court of Appeals reported opinions.  Douglas’ expertise is well-recognized and in that regard he is often called upon to mediate professional liability cases. Further, he has been named as one of Georgia’s Top 100 lawyers by Super Lawyers, and has been recognized as a Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine for the past several years. Douglas regularly writes and speaks to attorneys and law firms throughout the state about legal ethics, professional liability avoidance, and risk management.  In 2021, Douglas published Minnows and Sharks-- Lawyers’ Quick Reference For Reducing Risk and Avoiding Trouble which  is available in paperback on the Chandler Law website, and is also available as an E-Book through Amazon, Apple, and Barnes & Noble. Douglas is a Co-Founder of the Professional Liability Section of the State Bar of Georgia and is also the Vice-Chair of the Unlicensed Practice of Law Standing Committee. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a Member of dri™ Lawyers Representing Business.™ When not practicing law, Douglas enjoys sailing, hunting, fishing, tennis, and just about any other outdoor activity you can think of with his wife and their three children.
