Mr. Edward Croxall Bresee

Edward “Mickey” Bresee, Jr. joined Mozley, Finlayson & Loggins in 1991 and has been an equity partner since 1998. His practice focuses on aviation litigation and involves defending airports, airlines, manufacturers, repair stations, pilots, owner/operators, fixed base operators, Part 135 commercial operators, and insurers in tort litigation. He also handles subrogation litigation and general products liability litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, he served three years as an Assistant District Attorney where he gained extensive courtroom experience trying felony criminal cases. Mr. Bresee has tried more than 40 jury trials in various state and federal courts. He has been voted one of Georgia’s Super Lawyers every year since 2016.
Mr. Bresee has lectured throughout the country on topics including aviation litigation, insurance subrogation, and insurance coverage. He has been a featured speaker at the SMU Air Law Symposium and the Aviation Insurance Association and has taught trial techniques at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy at Emory University. Mr. Bresee has also lectured at seminars sponsored by the Aviation Section of the Georgia Bar Association and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
