Ellen S. Podgor
Professor Ellen S. Podgor is the Gary R. Trombley Family White-Collar Crime Research Professor at Stetson University College of Law where she teaches courses in white collar crime, criminal law, criminal procedure adjudication, and white collar advocacy. She is the co-author of numerous books including the Hornbook on White Collar Crime and White Collar Crime in a Nutshell. She has authored more than 70 law review articles and essays in the areas of white collar crime, lawyer’s ethics, criminal discovery, prosecutorial discretion, and computer crime. She is a past president of the Southeastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS), an honorary member of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers (ABCL), and a life member of the American Law Institute (ALI). Professor Podgor received the ABA Criminal Justice Section Raeder-Taslitz Award and the Robert C. Heeney Award, the highest honor given by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
