Emily J. Wiegert has had marketing and social media strategy in her blood since she was responsible for publicity of her high school, college, and community theatre productions. She earned a BS in Marketing/PR from Berry College in Rome, Georgia, and an MBA in Marketing from National University in LaJolla, California. Emily was a public high school English teacher for 20 years and was a freelance marketing, branding, and public relations consultant, and a graphic designer for local and online businesses while teaching. After having to leave education due to complications from Long-Covid, Emily started her dream career by establishing her own consulting firm, The Back Pocket CMO, where she serves lawyers, business owners, and professionals with Fractional CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) services, digital and traditional marketing consulting, and brand development and strategy consulting. With a background in English education, Emily brings a unique perspective to training, consulting, and coaching professionals. Through demystifying the world of marketing, branding, and public relations, she empowers her clients to take charge of their own marketing endeavors. Emily is married to Dave, a high school special education teacher in Houston County, and is a cheer and golf mom to two very active teenage girls.
