Judge Cheney was appointed to the Atlantic Judicial Circuit bench by Governor Nathan Deal on February 15, 2016.  He was engaged in the general practice of law in Reidsville, Georgia prior to his appointment.  Judge Cheney is the Judge for the Parent Accountability Court for Liberty County.
