Jill Greene

Vice President and Senior Counsel, Acuity Brands, Inc.

 

Jill Greene is a seasoned lawyer of over twenty years with expertise in Labor and Employment law and litigation.  Jill currently serves as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Acuity Brands, Inc., a leading industrial technology company based in Atlanta, Georgia.    Prior to Acuity, Jill served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Berry Global, Inc., the world's largest packaging manufacturer, based in Evansville, Indiana.  Jill began her legal career at Powell Goldstein (n/k/a Bryan Cave) in Atlanta before moving into in-house practice.  She received her undergraduate degree from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.

 

Jill co-founded Mind Matters, Acuity's employee resource group (ERG) focusing on mental health.  The mission of Mind Matters is to elevate the dialogue around mental health and reduce the stigma of mental health issues.  She is also on the Board of Directors for one of Indiana's most respected mental health agencies.  Jill is a leader and champion for mental wellness and hopes to ignite passion for mental health in companies across the U.S. and beyond.
