Mr. Jonathan Victor Dunn

Jonatha Dunn has managed the firm of Jonathan V. Dunn, P.C., since its inception in late 2018.  His principal practice areas include Family Law and Criminal Defense.  Jonathan currently serves as Secretary to the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and is a former editor of the Family Law Review. 

Jonathan was previously a partner in the firm of Johnson, Kraeuter & Dunn, from 2012-2018, an associate at McCorkle & Johnson, from 2008-2012, and an Assistant District Attorney with the Eastern Judicial Circuit from 2003-2008.  Before moving to Savannah in 2003, Jonathan was an associate at the firm of Thompson & Sweeny, in Lawrenceville.

Jonathan was admitted to the practice of law in 2002 after graduating from the University of Georgia School of Law.  He received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Latin at Mercer University, and is privileged to have taught English and coached Wrestling at Landmark Christian School in Fairburn for two years between his undergraduate studies and law school.

Jonathan is pleased to call Savannah his home, where he and his wife, Sharnette, have raised their two sons, Hunter and Stewart, and he enjoys availing himself of volunteer opportunities at Benedictine Military School and Hancock Day School, where his children have attended.
