Jordan J. Hendrick grew up in Cobb County and has been practicing law in the State of Georgia since 2004.  Jordan began devoting 100% of his practice to family law in 2009 and became a partner in a multi-practice firm in Atlanta in 2011.  Jordan left that Atlanta firm amicably in 2019 to come home to Marietta and help create the family law firm now known as Abernathy Ditzel Hendrick, LLC.

Jordan’s preference in every case is to help his clients find a sensible and practical resolution to their problems that allows them to maintain control of their personal lives.  As that is not always possible, Jordan is an experienced litigator who has tried divorce and child custody cases before numerous judges across the State of Georgia and successfully argued a case before the Supreme Court of Georgia.  Through this experience Jordan has earned the respect of his clients and peers and has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine and Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite on numerous occasions.    

Jordan is an avid Georgia Bulldog supporter whose life became much more fulfilled after January 10, 2022, when the Bulldogs finally broke the dreaded Alabama Crimson Tide Curse and won a National Championship (2023 was just gravy) after 41 years of struggle.  Jordan resides in East Cobb with his wife Cynthia, daughter Ashely, and son Evan.
