Gautreaux Law, LLC

David Cooke has over 25 years of experience getting justice for victims who were hurt by the intentional and careless acts of others. As a trial lawyer, David has taken over 150 jury trials to verdict, specializing in the prosecution of sex crimes and homicides.

A frequent lecturer on crimes against women and children, David has been featured multiple times as an expert commentator for HLN, NPR, MSNBC, Dateline NBC, and other national media outlets. He also teaches other lawyers the best practices for litigation including jury selection, evidence presentation, and direct and cross examination of expert witnesses.

David has won many awards for his advocacy. He and his wife, Rebecca, are members of the First Baptist Church of Christ, where they both serve as deacons. The Cookes have three children, and reside in Macon.
