Kevin McEvoy

Kevin McEvoy is the Chief Administrative Judge for the Hearings Unit of the Atlanta District Office, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.  He previously served as defense counsel handling employment litigation with the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General.  Prior to relocating to Atlanta, he served as Senior Counsel with the Export-Import Bank of the United States in Washington, D.C. and as an Administrative Judge in the EEOC’s Washington Field Office.

Judge McEvoy’s areas of interest include e-discovery for federal sector complaints and mixed cases.  He has co-authored two articles for the “Ask the Experts” series in Law360 on the USERRA claims process and involvement of agency attorneys in the EEO investigative process.  While visiting the National Institute of Justice, U.S. Department of Justice as a Presidential Management Fellow, he also published an article on probationary violations in the NIJ Journal.
