Mr. Lance Drury Dutton
Brown Dutton & Crider Law Firm
Lance has been a dedicated attorney since 2008. During his time in law school, he served as Class Vice President, excelled in an opening statement competition that earned him a spot on the prestigious Trial Team, and contributed to Law Review, where he was honored for producing the most outstanding article.
Lance began his legal career as a public defender, gaining significant trial experience by successfully managing over 20 jury trials, achieving a remarkable win rate of approximately 75%.
Known for his tenacity, compassion, and unwavering honesty, Lance prioritizes transparency in client communication, ensuring they hear what they need rather than just what they want. He thrives on tackling complex and unique challenges in family and criminal law, relishing the opportunities for legal research, innovative problem-solving, and the intricacies of calculating marital balance sheets in divorce cases.
Outside of his legal practice, Lance remains an avid tennis player, having competed at the collegiate level and ranked as a top junior player in North Carolina and Georgia. He has recently taken up golf lessons, aiming to break 85 in his first round. In his downtime, Lance cherishes moments with his two rescue dogs, Lucky and Foxy, whom he rescued as puppies from the middle of the road. Visitors to the office may occasionally spot these playful pups roaming around.
