After law school, she clerked for District Judge Clay Land in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and then entered private practice in Nashville, Tennessee, where she gained experience serving clients on a range of employment matters at a boutique employment law firm. In 2011, Laura jumped at the opportunity to return to Georgia and join Elarbee Thompson.
Laura lives in Decatur with her husband, Alec, and their son, Murray. Outside the office, you will find Laura spending time with her family and friends, watching UGA sports, and going to Taylor Swift concerts.
