Laura French is the founder of French Law Group, LLC, where she concentrates her practice in estate planning, trust design, and business succession planning. For more than 25 years, she has advised individuals, families, and entrepreneurs throughout Georgia on preserving wealth, protecting assets, and creating thoughtful transition plans that preserve family harmony.

Laura focuses her legal work on empowering her clients through education, providing clarity, and peace of mind. Laura’s work includes guiding aging clients and their families through incapacity planning, fiduciary structuring, and thoughtful trust administration. She is known for blending legal and tax insights with practical implementation, ensuring that planning documents are not only well drafted, but properly funded and aligned with each client’s long-term objectives.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and Alabama, as well as before the United States Supreme Court.

A Georgia Super Lawyers® honoree and AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Laura has served thousands of clients and previously acted as General Counsel for both a regional hospital and a public utility company. She has also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Georgia School of Law and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

An educator and international speaker, Laura teaches estate planning attorneys how to streamline their service offerings and develop niche practice areas as she has done in music and literary rights, that set them apart in a competitive market.
