Ms. Lauren Albanese Bryant

Lauren Bryant is the founder of the Law Office of Lauren A. Bryant, and she focuses her practice on probate, guardianship, and estate planning matters. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice and earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law in 2008. After nearly 15 years with a small firm that evolved into a probate-focused practice, Lauren opened her own firm in 2021.

Before law school, Lauren worked as a social worker advocating for adults with developmental disabilities, an experience that continues to shape her practice. She has since served as a Guardian ad Litem for probate courts across Georgia and for the Northern District of Georgia, representing the interests of children and adults with special needs in guardianship, conservatorship, and probate litigation matters. From 2022 to 2023, Lauren served as a part-time judge in the Fulton County Probate Court, adjudicating emergency and permanent guardianship and conservatorship cases, and in 2023 she was appointed to a legislative advisory panel focused on improving Georgia’s guardianship laws. She is also a certified mediator and participates in Georgia’s probate mediation initiative (she's even in the training video for all new probate mediators!).

Lauren has been recognized by the Georgia Pro Bono Project, named to Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite,” and selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star. She is a frequent CLE speaker on probate and Guardian ad Litem topics and has extensive experience in complex estate planning, with a particular passion for special needs trusts.

Lauren lives in Suwanee with her husband, three children, and their pets. When she finds free time, she enjoys true crime podcasts, British crime dramas, and local thrift store adventures.
