Ms. Melanie Kay Lane

A graduate of the University of Georgia, Melanie received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing along with a Certificate in Legal Studies. She further pursued her passion for law at Pepperdine University’s esteemed Caruso School of Law, where she obtained her J.D. in 2022. During her time at Pepperdine, Melanie distinguished herself academically, earning the CALI Award for the highest grades in both International Business Transactions and International Commercial Arbitration courses.

Immediately after graduation, Melanie put her education into practice at Oliver Hughes LLC, an all-women firm specializing in business and contract disputes. Melanie now works on the Founders Legal trademark and litigation team, where she actively participates in each litigation matter. Melanie holds a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University, equipping her with the skills to facilitate effective solutions in complex disputes.

Melanie’s love for the law is matched by her commitment to her community. An active member of her local church, Peachtree Christian Church, she serves as the Treasurer of her chapter of the church’s Christian Women’s Fellowship group and co-chair of the Youth Ministry.

In her leisure time, Melanie embraces her love for travel and reading. Her adventures have taken her to London, where she spent a semester during law school working at a large firm on an IPO. When she is not travelling, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
