Mr. Ralph M. Hinman III
Ralph M. Hinman is a criminal defense lawyer. His office is in Dalton, Georgia, which is in the northwest corner of the state. He graduated from Emory University in 1973 and from Mercer Law School in 1981, where he was named to the Order of Barristers for his work in Moot Court. He opened his private law practice in 1987. Before that, he served as a judicial law clerk, as legal counsel for the State Senate Committee on Banking and Finance, as an Assistant Attorney General, and as an Assistant District Attorney, holding the latter position for 3 years. From 1990 to 1995, he served as Judge Pro Tem of the Dalton Municipal Court, a part time position during which he maintained his private law practice. Mr. Hinman has tried approximately 300 jury trials.
