Rick is a Partner at M | C Law Group, a firm that focuses on AI, Advertising, IP, and Music legal matters.  Prior to founding M|C Law Group, Rick worked in-house for over 24 years at Warner Bros. Discovery and its predecessor companies, where he served as Chief IP Counsel, SVP of Music Legal and Business Affairs, Head of Commercial Clearance, and Global Head of IP Policy.  For the last 3 years, Rick’s practice has focused heavily on issues related to AI, including drafting AI usage policies, negotiating AI tool license agreements, drafting and negotiating other agreements with respect to use of AI, and serving as the Warner Bros. representative to the MPA and AMPTP regarding legislative, regulatory, and guild matters related to AI.
