Sam Krishnan

Sam Krishnan is the IT manager for Digital Services at DeKalb County, Georgia. In this capacity, he leads a team responsible for a large portfolio of applications including the county’s website, intranet, document management and public works enterprise systems.  He has extensive experience in digital transformation with a focus on cloud migration, workforce reskilling and advanced technology research in a government context. His principal interests are in understanding how municipal governments can use cloud-based & emerging technologies like AI to significantly boost effectiveness and provide lower-cost services. Sam has an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, an MS in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester, NY.
