Taylor is a Managing Director in the Private Credit Group in Goldman Sachs Asset Management division and focuses on originating and structuring middle market loans. Goldman Sachs Private Credit Group (“GS PCG”) is a leading investor of private credit globally with approximately $72 billion of assets under management (“AUM”) including senior secured debt, mezzanine loans and structured equity investments to small and medium sized businesses. Taylor focuses on covering financial sponsors in the Southeast and also leads GS PCG’s investing efforts in the financial services technology, payment processing and environmental services industries.
Prior to joining GSSLG in 2005, Taylor was a Vice President at Wachovia Capital Partners, the principal investing group of Wachovia Corporation with over $1.5 billion in equity investments under management. Prior to Wachovia Capital Partners, Taylor was an Associate at The Robinson-Humphrey Company, a leading Southeastern focused middle market investment bank.
Taylor earned a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1997 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
