Taylor is a Partner in the Atlanta office of Huff Powell Bailey. She is also the Managing Partner of the law firm. Her practice is devoted primarily to the defense of medical malpractice claims and cases. She represents hospitals, nurses, physicians, mid-level providers, health systems and other entities in all phases of claims and litigation including trial and appellate work. She specializes in complex medical malpractice cases with a particular focus in obstetrical cases and radiology cases. Taylor also represents a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company in professional negligence and ordinary negligence and premises liability cases.
Taylor is a trial tested litigation attorney. She has tried well over 30 complex and medical malpractice cases to verdict in some of the worst venues for the defense in the country.
Taylor obtained her undergraduate degree in political science and Spanish, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia and her juris doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Team and Articles Editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law. Before private practice, Taylor completed a federal clerkship with the Honorable G. R. Smith, Federal Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Georgia.
In recognition of her medical malpractice and litigation expertise, Taylor is frequently asked to give presentations to attorneys, physicians, insurance carriers and healthcare companies.
