Mr. Thomas Samuel Richey

Retired Partner, Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, LLP Mr. Richey practiced law with Powell Goldstein, LLP and Bryan Cave, LLP for 40 years, specializing in corporate, securities and financial litigation, as well as director and officer liability insurance coverage, nonprofit corporation and probate litigation. He has been a frequent speaker on corporate governance issues at business and nonprofit corporation seminars and organized seminars for the Bar on corporate litigation for 12 years. He also authored annual surveys of Georgia Corporation and Business Corporation Case Law Developments from 2005 to 2014 published in the Georgia Bar Journal and coauthored the Chapter on Director and Officer Liability in Georgia Business Litigation from 2014 to 2018. He served on the Business Law Section's Corporate Code Revision Committee, chairing subcommittees on indemnification, derivative actions and receiverships, and served on the Nonprofit Section's committee for three years in reviewing and revising the Georgia Nonprofit Corporation Code.
