Mr. William Taylor McNeill

Taylor McNeill joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia in 2016 and currently serves as the Deputy Chief of the Civil Division and as the district's Health Care Fraud Coordinator and eLitigation Coordinator. Taylor has represented the United States and its agencies and employees in all types of cases, including unique civil rights, constitutional, and catastrophic tort claims, but he primarily handles civil matters arising under the False Claims Act and the Controlled Substances Act.
Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney's Office, Taylor practiced in Atlanta with the firms Chilivis, Cochran, Larkins, & Bever, LLP, and Polsinelli, and, before then, served as a law clerk to the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. He graduated from the Mercer University School of Law, magna cum laude, where he served as an Editor on the Mercer Law Review. Taylor received his bachelor's degree, with honors, from the University of Georgia.
