Ed has practiced law since 1988 and is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee. He represents banks, finance companies, funds and borrowers in the middle and large corporate markets. Ed is a fellow with the American Bar Foundation as well as with the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. He is also a former Georgia State Bar Business Law Section President and a former Chair of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee of such Business Law Section. Finally, Ed is a member of the National Leadership Board of Emory University's Michael C. Carlos Museum and a co-chair of the Board.
Tamika Walters is the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer of Burr & Forman, LLP, a law firm with 20 offices throughout the southeast. In this role, she leads initiatives and develops firm-wide policies to foster a diverse environment and create an inclusive culture where each person, regardless of their background, feels that they belong and have a fair opportunity to succeed. Tamika works with leadership to align recruiting, retention and professional development priorities with the firm’s strategic goals. To further these goals, Tamika directs inclusion training, plans firm-wide programs honoring the history and traditions of diverse cultures and provides oversight for attorney resource groups. Tamika also supports the firm’s efforts to enhance client service through diverse and inclusive legal teams.
Prior to joining Burr & Forman, Tamika held various leadership roles at national, Am Law 100 firms based in Atlanta, including as a Senior Diversity & Inclusion Manager and Senior Business Development Manager. Tamika began her legal career as a litigator in the areas of employment law, securities litigation, internal investigations, and general commercial litigation. She also taught a legal writing course to pre-law students at Georgia Tech.
Tamika earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies from Brown University and her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Maia is an associate at Burr & Forman LLP in Atlanta, Georgia. Maia's practice involves representing clients in real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, and financing of multifamily and retail properties. Maia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law. In her free time, Maia enjoys spending time with her family and friends and trying new restaurants around the city.
Alanna Clair is a partner at Dentons US LLP in Washington, D.C. Her practice focuses on complex insurance coverage and bad faith avoidance. She also represents lawyers and law firms in matters of legal malpractice, partnership disputes, and ethics. She is the co-author of Georgia Legal Malpractice Law, a treatise published by American Lawyer Media, and co-authors a twice-monthly column in the Daily Report about lawyer ethics and risk avoidance. In 2020, Alanna was named one of the top “40 Under 40” Lawyers in Washington, D.C. by the National Law Journal. In 2022, Alanna was named one of Law360’s “Rising Stars” in the area of Insurance.
As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Andre Hylton leads Infor’s legal team. He manages all legal and compliance affairs of the company. Andre is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School and resides in Atlanta with his wife, Tamera, and his two children.
