Ed Snow has practiced law since 1988 and is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee. Ed is a commercial and corporate lending partner at Burr & Forman LLP, Atlanta, representing banks, finance companies, funds and borrowers in the middle and large corporate markets. His clients include Wells Fargo Bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, BMO Bank, Pinnacle Bank, Regions Bank, and SouthState Bank, among others.
 
Ed is a former adjunct professor of contracts and contract drafting at Emory Law School. He frequently writes and speaks on lending and other legal topics and has lectured for the Georgia State Bar Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia, as well as the Emory University Law and Religion Program and other organizations. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. His article “Sealed According to Law: The First Loan Closings in Antiquity” is forthcoming in two parts in the 2026 February and March volumes of The Banking Law Journal.
