Ed Snow has practiced law since 1988 and is admitted to practice in Georgia and Tennessee. Ed is a commercial and corporate lending partner at Burr & Forman LLP, Atlanta, representing banks, finance companies, funds and borrowers in the middle and large corporate markets. His clients include Wells Fargo Bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank, BMO Bank, Pinnacle Bank, Regions Bank, and SouthState Bank, among others.
 
Ed is a former adjunct professor of contracts and contract drafting at Emory Law School. He frequently writes and speaks on lending and other legal topics and has lectured for the Georgia State Bar Institute of Continuing Legal Education in Georgia, as well as the Emory University Law and Religion Program and other organizations. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers. His article “Sealed According to Law: The First Loan Closings in Antiquity” is forthcoming in two parts in the 2026 February and March volumes of The Banking Law Journal.

Thank you for participating in a State Bar of Georgia-sponsored event. To ensure that everyone enjoys their experience, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following code of conduct:

  • Please be considerate and respectful of fellow attendees, guests, and staff members.
  • Please refrain from disruptive behavior or engaging in any activity that may disturb others.
  • Attendees and guests who engage in harassing or disruptive behavior will be immediately ejected from the program or event without refund or reimbursement.
  • Attendees and guests are encouraged to promptly report any incidents, concerns, or instances of inappropriate behavior to State Bar or venue personnel.
  • Attendees and guests shall comply with requests from Bar or venue staff regarding operational and emergency procedures.
  • Guests who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner.
  • Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated, or underage guest will be handled promptly and safely. The State Bar of Georgia reserves the right to deny entry into an event and/or refuse service to guests displaying visible signs of impairment/intoxication.

State Bar of Georgia staff members are trained to intervene where necessary to help ensure the above expectations are met, and guests are encouraged to report inappropriate behavior to the nearest staff member.

  • Registration will open at 8:15 AM on February 12, 2026. The registration desk is located in the Reception Hall lobby. Please note, you must check-in to the program to receive your credits. State Bar of Georgia members only need to check in once at the registration table.
  • Breakfast will be available at 8:15 AM.
