Allie Jett is the founding partner of Jett Law Group. Originally from Charleston, SC, Allie is a “Double Dawg” having received her Bachelor’s Degrees in Linguistics and Classical Culture and her Law Degree from the University of Georgia.

Allie started her real estate career at age 16 in the Cobb County Deed Records Room when she started running titles for her family’s mortgage business. She continued working in various capacities for that mortgage company until entering law school. 

Allie has spent her legal career representing governmental, individual, and corporate clients in a wide range of real estate-related disputes on both the trial and appellate levels as well as general counseling regarding best practices and risk mitigation outside of litigation. She focuses her practice on litigating title to real property and property tax matters. She also frequently acts as a court-appointed Special Master in quiet title proceedings and auditor in a variety of other real estate disputes.

Allie is admitted to the bar in both Georgia and South Carolina and has been named a “Georgia Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine (every year from 2012 to 2018) and a Super Lawyer for every year from 2019-2024.

Mark Robinson currently serves as Vice President and Georgia State Counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.   Prior to joining Old Republic, Mark practiced both as a solo practitioner and as partner in his own firm with multiple offices in Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.  In his role at Old Republic, Mark provides the Company’s agents, attorneys and their staff with underwriting guidance and advice on a wide variety of title insurance and real estate related matters.

Mark is a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Finance, and he earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law.  Mark is member of the State Bar of Georgia and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section.  He is admitted to the Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia and is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. 

Mark also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the Southeast Land Title Association (SLTA).  Mark is a frequent speaker and educational trainer for members of the Georgia Bar and real estate industry professionals.

Matt is the 2022 recipient of the prestigious George A. Pindar Award.

He was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up in Decatur, Georgia and was educated in the public schools of DeKalb County.  He currently resides in Cartersville, Georgia but he works in Buckhead.  He went to the University of Georgia for undergraduate and law school.  Undergraduate, he was Phi Beta Kappa in political science magna cum laude and was Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa.  While in law school, he was Executive Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law which published his Note which was an extensive review of Presidential Powers under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.  His law school Note is still being cited in law review articles to this day over thirty years later.

He’s a Member of the Georgia and Montana Bars (where he’s a member of the Water Law section). 

He taught real estate law in the paralegal program at Kennesaw State for 25 years.

He served as the Chair of the Litigation Committee of the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section in Georgia for four years.  He has been a frequent contributor of articles for the Real Property Law Section newsletter.  Since 2013 until very recently, every single edition of the newsletter contained at least one of his articles.

He has been publishing his own particular brand of case write-ups for twelve years now currently under the name Distilled Clarity previously known as Undiluted Clarity.

He practices in all areas of commercial finance and secured lending.

A founding principal of The Gilroy Firm, Ms. Gilroy is the firm’s managing partner. Her national practice is based out of Atlanta.  

Named a Top 50 Woman Attorney in Georgia, the focus of Ms. Gilroy's  national litigation practice includes all aspects of real estate litigation, including property management issues, title insurance defense, fair housing, foreclosure and title disputes, broker and agent liability defense, mortgage fraud-related litigation and civil and commercial contract disputes.  She regularly assists closing attorneys, real estate agents, property managers, title companies and brokers when title or other contract issues arise. She practiced for several years in the areas of estate and trust litigation and serves regularly as a Special Master in Fulton County. 

A seasoned litigator, Ms. Gilroy has conducted hundreds of jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and mediations. Recently, she became licensed as an arbitrator and mediator, helping others resolve their disputes with her years of knowledge. 

Ms. Gilroy is a past Chair of the Real Property Law Section (“RPLS”) of the State Bar of Georgia, serving the RPLS for decades.  A long-standing member of the State Bar of Georgia, she was appointed by the last nine Presidents of the State Bar to serve on the Programs Committee, which determines how State Bar dues are spent. 

Since 2014, Ms. Gilroy has served on the American Land Title Association (ALTA) National Education Committee, one of only a dozen members who write the curriculum for ALTA members. Since 2020, she has served as the National Title Action Network (TAN) Chair for ALTA, promoting advocacy at the state and national level for title professionals. She is also the recipient of the prestigious National Title Professional Designation from ALTA.  

Ms. Gilroy is an action member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), serving as outside national counsel and as the Atlanta Chapter's General Counsel. She is considered a subject-matter expert on single-family residential property management and Fair Housing laws.  

A popular and frequent speaker, she speaks and teaches on a regular basis at the state and national level to attorneys, real estate professionals, property managers, and real estate brokers and agents on litigation and real estate-related topics. Ms. Gilroy holds an AV-peer review rating with Martindale Hubbell. Since 2008 she has been a peer-nominated Georgia Super Lawyer in the practice area of real estate.

For over a decade, she has served as the Attorney Coach for the Johns Creek High School Mock Trial team, assisting them to many victories and to the State competition. She was awarded the Attorney High School Mock Trial Coach of the Year by the State Bar. She is also an active volunteer educator in her church in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Matthew Totten is the founder and managing attorney of The Totten Firm, LLC. Matthew represents property managers, lenders, property owners, and investors in a wide range of real property-related matters in trial and appellate courts.

Particularly, Matthew has significant experience in landlord-tenant matters, representing local and national property management clients throughout the eviction process, defending adverse tenant litigation, addressing bankruptcy-related matters, and navigating the unique issues posed to lenders during post-foreclosure REO. 

Further, Matthew extensively litigates and resolves title issues as to real property, including representing lenders and consumers in lien priority disputes, title defects, and other items affecting real property interests. Matthew has substantial experience in representing financial institutions and servicers throughout the non-judicial foreclosure process, including resolving title-related concerns prior to conducting foreclosure.

As a graduate of the University of Georgia (BBA, Finance) and the University of South Carolina (JD), he is admitted to the bar of all State of Georgia Courts, as well as the federal and bankruptcy courts of the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Matthew serves as chair of the legislative subcommittee for the Executive Committee of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He is originally from Brunswick, Georgia and lives in Dunwoody with his amazing wife, three wonderfully rambunctious kids, and prioritizes giving back to the community as an Eagle Scout.
