Kathleen Currey is partner at Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP in Atlanta, Georgia.  She represents financial institutions and borrowers in secured lending and financial restructuring matters, and her proactive and client-focused approach leads to excellent commercial outcomes in her deals.

Kathleen has extensive experience with syndicated loan facilities, asset-based financings, debtor-in-possession financings and negotiating complex intercreditor and subordination agreements. She is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee, chair of the Firm’s Partnership Committee, and former chair of the Firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Kathleen is a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Attorneys and is ranked in Chambers USA in Banking and Finance (2013-present) and in The Best Lawyers in America in Banking and Finance Law (2016-present), and was selected by The Best Lawyers in America as the 2026 Lawyer of the Year in Atlanta in the practice area of Banking and Finance Law. Kathleen has been featured multiple times in the Secured Finance Network’s Women in Secured Finance issue of The Secured Lender.  She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina (B.S. in Business Administration (Finance)) and Emory University School of Law (J.D.) with distinction.
