Patricia Fortune Ammari is an elder and special needs law attorney serving the Atlanta metro area. Patricia’s practice includes estate planning, Medicaid planning, special needs planning, probate, and guardianship.    

Patricia has served in several roles for the Georgia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys including President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Board Member, and she has also done committee work at the national level for the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.  Patricia has also served on the Board of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Elder Law Section and served as President of the Cobb County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate, and Elder Law Section.  Patricia has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer for the last 7 years, and she has been named one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers by Super Lawyers for 2024 and 2025. 

Patricia was appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia twice to serve on the State Disciplinary Board.  During her six years on the Board, she served Vice-Chair and then Chair.

When Patricia is not practicing law, she loves reading, painting, and spending time with family and friends.
