Murray Gottheil's Profile

Murray Gottheil Related Seminars and Products

Founder

Pallett Valo LLP

Murray Gottheil practiced business law for 39 years, primarily in a medium-sized law firm in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. He was the practice head for the corporate department for much of that time and the managing partner of the firm for 5 years.

Although Murray enjoyed working with clients to help them build and protect their businesses and enjoyed teaching and mentoring younger lawyers, he hated the relentless pressure of the legal profession and its impact on family life and physical and mental health.

In 2020, Murray retired to a small town a few hours away from Toronto and bought a pick-up truck.
From the safety of retirement, he writes about the legal profession to encourage law students and lawyers to plan their careers with their eyes wide open and a view to their families and health, and publishes his musings on Law 360 (Canada), LinkedIn and his website at www.lawanddisorderinc.com.

He also teaches business law, mentors law students and lawyers, and speaks about various topics of interest to members of the legal profession.
