Erin Gerstenzang is the founder of EHG Law Firm —one of Georgia’s premier criminal defense firms helping people charged with DUI and other serious traffic, drug, and alcohol-related offenses. In addition to running her busy metro-Atlanta practice, Erin is known as a dynamic, engaging legal educator constantly seeking out cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and systems to improve the delivery of legal services. She serves on the State Bar of Georgia’s Disciplinary Rules and Procedures Committee and is on the executive board of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Juanita is a Partner at EHG Law Firm, a preeminent criminal defense firm in Georgia. Her practice focuses on representing individuals charged with DUI and other serious traffic, drug, and alcohol-related offenses.
Prior to joining EHG Law Firm, Juanita served as an assistant public defender in the DUI division in the city of Atlanta, where she skillfully defended over 300 DUI cases annually. Juanita is a highly regarded DUI Detection and Field Sobriety Testing Instructor and provides education to attorneys from across the United States. In addition, Juanita has received extensive training in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) and the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Program, expanding her expertise beyond just alcohol-related DUI defense.
Juanita's depth of knowledge and passion for sharing her legal expertise has resulted in both national and local speaking engagements on topics related to DUI defense. Her dedication to her clients and commitment to her profession make her an invaluable asset to the legal community
Ben Sessions has been recognized as a Top 100 SuperLawyer by SuperLawyers Magazine from 2019 through 2025, and he has been consistently recognized as a SuperLawyer since 2015. He has tried more than 65 jury trials, and he has appeared before the Georgia Supreme Court 4 times, and in 3 of those cases, he managed to win.
Duff Ayers is a criminal defense lawyer who practices in east Georgia. His law office is in Millen, Georgia. He is originally from Sylvania, Georgia.
Duff attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011.
He started his career handling transactional work, but became focused on defending clients accused of crimes after beginning to take appointed criminal cases in 2015. Duff gained particular interest in impaired driving cases.
Duff is a member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He currently serves as an Area Vice President with the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Duff completed the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Program and is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College Deryl Dantzler Trial Practice Institute.
Duff is married and has two young children who keep him busy outside his practice. In his spare time, Duff enjoys spending time with his children, following the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves, hunting, cooking, reading, and snow skiing.
After graduating law school in May 2008, Ashley began working as a law clerk with Head, Thomas, Webb & Willis in Atlanta, Georgia. When she passed the Georgia Bar Exam in October 2008, she accepted an associate position with the firm and has been practicing law since then. She's a founding member of DUIDLA (DUI Defense Lawyers Association) and general member of GACDL (Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers), Georgia Defense of Drinking Drivers, State Bar of Georgia and the ABA (American Bar Association). She has also attended many seminars dedicated to continuing education in the areas of DUI and criminal defense. In 2009, she attended and completed an intensive seminar that qualified her as an instructor of field sobriety evaluations in accordance with NHTSA (National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration) standards.
In January 2012, Ashley opened up her own law firm, Schiavone Law, P.C. and is currently practicing as a solo practitioner in the areas of general criminal defense (misdemeanor and felony cases), DUI, traffic law and uncontested divorce. In both 2012 and 2014, Ashley was named one of “Atlanta’s Finest Professionals” by Proactive Resources and Creative Loafing in Atlanta, Georgia. She has also consistently been named a “Rising Star” and Super Lawyer" by “Georgia Super Lawyers” since 2017.
Ashley continues to speak state-wide and nationally in the area of DUI defense. From 2012-2016, she published her book, “Defending DUI: Case Outline.” In the spring of 2022, her book launched as an app, “Georgia DUI Caselaw” and can be found for sale on both Apple and Google platforms.
Laura Katherine Wester is a dedicated criminal defense attorney and the founder of Wester Law, LLC, a boutique law firm based in Decatur, Georgia. For 15 years, she has focused her practice on felonies, misdemeanors, DUI and traffic offenses, domestic violence and stalking protective orders, and juvenile cases. She also represents clients in driver’s license investigations and reinstatements, helping them regain stability and independence after an arrest or suspension.
She started her career at Chestney & Sullivan, one of Georgia’s most prominent DUI defense firms. She stayed at the firm for five years until she left to open her own office. Early in her career, she was invited to participate in the highly competitive Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy program with the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in Athens, Georgia and the Summer Session of the National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Laura has been awarded the coveted Super Lawyers title from 2019 through 2021, and again from 2023 through 2025. She does not know what happened in 2022.
