Robert Wildstein is a partner with the law firm of Bodker, Ramsey, Andrews, Winograd & Wildstein, P.C., and was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1983. Robert earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Northwestern University, his juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Georgia, and his Master of Laws degree in Litigation from Emory University.

Robert’s areas of practice include post judgment collections, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, commercial leasing, commercial transactions, and organizational governance. Robert serves as a speaker at CLE seminars for the State Bar of Georgia, National Business Institute, Sterling Education Services, and Lorman Education Services on numerous topics which include post judgment collection, commercial leasing and evidence.

Robert is a co-author of Stuart Finestone’s authoritative book on Georgia Post Judgment Collections. Robert has also been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America, Best Lawyers (2021-2022),  Georgia Super Lawyer, Atlanta Magazine, 2006-2023, as well as a Georgia Top 100 Super Lawyer in 2024 and one of Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” for 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Ashley Bowcott grew up as a writer in a family of legal professionals. She applies her love of writing with her experiences around the practice of  law, using research, creativity and her legal acumen to effectively tell clients’ stories. She represents a wide range of business clients--from individual employees to closely held companies to national and multinational corporations--in a variety of business litigation disputes. She specializes in noncompete and other restrictive covenant and trade secret disputes.


Ashley is a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and member of the Executive Board of the Georgia State University Law Review. Previously, Ashley received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at University of Central Florida where she was a Provost’s Fellow, and she earned her Bachelor of Arts from DePaul University. She currently serves as a Communications Chair with the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and is also a member of the Atlanta Bar Association's Wellness Committee, as well as its Law School Outreach Committee.

Adam Cleveland specializes in recoveries on defaulted obligations, including vehicle loans, mortgages, credit cards, and other consumer and commercial instruments and loan products.  Adam advises creditor clients on maximizing recovery in their non-performing portfolios through demand, workout, litigation, and levy, in addition to serving as general counsel for corporate clients for their compliance procedures, complaint resolution (including CFPB matters), and civil litigation defense.

Adam has particular expertise in Georgia garnishments, with broad experience filing garnishments against judgment debtors, responding to garnishments and defending against claims, traverses, and defaults on behalf of financial institutions, and maintaining state and federal garnishment compliance procedures for financial institutions and employer clients.  In 2015, he served as the creditors’ representative on the Georgia Garnishment Law Task Force, producing a complete revision of the Georgia Code’s Title 18-4 which became Georgia’s new garnishment law in 2016. He again worked with the state legislature to produce the garnishment bills passed into law in 2018 and 2020.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the National Creditors Bar Association, is a co-founder of the Georgia Creditors Council, an advocacy organization for Georgia creditor attorneys, and currently serves as the Chair of the Creditors Rights section of Georgia’s State Bar.

Gus H. Small is a senior partner at Small Herrin, LLP.  Gus has represented Debtors, Creditors and Equity Security Holders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases and has been legal counsel to a number of creditors' committees.  He has also served as a Trustee in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases.


Besides serving as legal counsel in bankruptcy cases, Gus specializes in commercial litigation, including jury trials in federal and state court.  He has appeared as counsel in state and federal court in matters involving lender liability, voidable transfers, secured and unsecured creditors' rights, contract disputes, insurance defense cases involving real estate issues, construction lien law and receivership cases.  He has also represented clients in numerous mediations and arbitrations and has served as a mediator and special master. 


Gus is admitted to practice before the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, all federal courts in Georgia, the United States Courts of Appeal for the 4th, 5th and 11th Circuits and the United States Supreme Court.  He is a frequent lecturer on Bankruptcy and Commercial Law, and is the author of The Bank is Not Your Friend, a guide for  small business owners, entrepreneurs, accountants and others not experienced in commercial law and bankruptcy.  The book explains the creditor’s rights and debtor relief system and educates the reader in how the commercial law and bankruptcy system works when a small business suffers financial difficulties.


Gus is a graduate of Emory University College and the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.  Prior to coming to Atlanta to practice law, Gus served on active duty as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army in Viet Nam.

Jacob Maurer is a partner with the law firm of Bodker, Ramsey, Andrews, Winograd & Wildstein, P.C.  For over 26 years Jacob has represented clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters including business disputes, post judgment collections, and real estate cases.  In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Jacob advises clients in transactional and corporate matters including commercial leasing, negotiating service and license agreements, and business acquisitions and sales.  Jacob graduated from the University of Illinois in 1993 (B.S., Advertising) and received his juris doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1997.
