Stuart Gordan is a Partner with the law firm McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLC.  Based in the firm’s Roswell, GA office, Stuart manages the REO and Closing Dept. operations over the firm’s 15-state footprint.  Stuart has been a Georgia resident for over 20 years, following his graduations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then the University of Tulsa College of Law.

Carol is founder of Carol Clark Law, is a trial lawyer with more than thirty years of experience, specializing in mortgage banking, construction and lease contracts, and other real estate related matters.  A “Double Dawg” graduate of the Honors Program at the University of Georgia and its law school, Ms. Clark currently serves on the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Georgia and is a Director for the Mortgage Banking Association of Georgia.  She is also Past President of the Atlanta Lawyers Club, served as chairperson of the 2000+ member Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia, is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, has presented papers at the Real Property Law Institute, Mortgage Bankers Association Legal Issues Conference, and has made occasional televised appearances, including The Layman’s Lawyer. 

 Her publications include the 4th and 5th Editions of Padrick’s RESPA, TILA HOEPA and ECOA in Real Estate Transactions, and the contribution of several chapters in Pindar's Georgia Real Estate Law and Procedure, Civil Procedure and Georgia Procedure, Property.  She feels the secret to her many blessings is an old fashioned commitment to provide top service to her clients by a practical approach to dispute resolution with minimal expense.  Her faith and philosophy of giving back to the community have been a hallmark of her career, and her awards for leadership and board service are many.  She is proud of her A.V. rating from Martindale-Hubbell but is most proud of her clients’ continuing confidence.  Carol has been named as a Georgia Super Lawyer and repeatedly as one of Georgia’s Fifty Top Female Lawyers by Atlanta Magazine, and also as one of Georgia's Top 100.

 In May, 2008, Carol was awarded the prestigious George A. Pindar Award for lifetime achievement in real estate law.  She was the first woman so honored and also the youngest ever named.

Mark Robinson currently serves as Vice President and Georgia State Counsel for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.   Prior to joining Old Republic, Mark practiced both as a solo practitioner and as partner in his own firm with multiple offices in Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.  In his role at Old Republic, Mark provides the Company’s agents, attorneys and their staff with underwriting guidance and advice on a wide variety of title insurance and real estate related matters.

 

Mark is a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in Finance, and he earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law.  Mark is member of the State Bar of Georgia and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section.  He is admitted to the Courts of the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia and is a member of the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. 

 

Mark also currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the Southeast Land Title Association (SLTA).  Mark is a frequent speaker and educational trainer for members of the Georgia Bar and real estate industry professionals.

Kenneth “Kenny” Stroud serves as Associate State Counsel for CATIC where he oversees underwriting for the southeast region.  Kenny received a B.B.A. from Kennesaw State University in the disciplines of Economics and Finance.  Kenny spent several years in the insurance and risk analysis fields before enrolling at The University of Georgia School of Law where he obtained his J.D., finishing in the top 15% of his class.  Prior to joining CATIC, Kenny maintained a successful practice in Metro Atlanta focused on real estate and real estate litigation, estate planning, and bankruptcy and creditor’s rights.  Kenny is a frequent speaker and instructor for CE/CLE events and industry conferences. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia Real Property Law Section, GRECAA, SLTA, TNLTA, PLTA and FLTA.

Leonard R. Gray, Jr. is Senior Underwriting Counsel in the Atlanta Agency office of First American Title Insurance Company, specializing in insuring Commercial -High Liability transactions.

Mr. Gray started his title insurance career in 1998 with First American with the National Commercial Services office in Atlanta. Mr. Gray has also served as Georgia State Counsel for both Lawyers Title and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Companies, as well as Commercial Underwriting Counsel for Fidelity in their National Commercial (NTS) Office.

Before joining the title insurance industry 1998, he maintained a real estate closing and transactional practice in Atlanta with two large volume real estate law firms, starting with McCurdy and Candler law firm in Decatur, Georgia. He also has experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and lender representation, representing a large Savings and Loan in Georgia.  

He is an AV-Rated Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Gray graduated from the University of Georgia, School of Law.

Mr. Gray was honored with the George A. Pindar Award given by the Executive Committee of the Real Property Law Section at the 2023 Real Property Law Institute.
